This holiday season 3 Dames Productions will host our 2nd Annual SUYG to raise funds and awareness for Dress for Success. D4S is a nonprofit organization that provides interview suits, confidence boosts and career development to low-income women seeking employment who are referred by other nonprofits and government agencies. Donations of gently used clothes and accessories will be accepted and raffle tickets for $1 will be sold at the door for prizes. Now is the perfect time to clean out that closet to make room for those new holiday goodies:)

Each vendor participating is a strong local femme fatale business owner who was personally selected for their professionalism and quality of service/product. We are sure that you will be able to find that perfect gift (for yourself or some one else), have a hair or makeup touch-up (Thursday is the new Friday!), sip a yummy bevie and make a few new friends......bring your business cards and get ready to shop and network!

Adoption Coalition - Sponsor Foster Child for the Holiday's

Our friend and southwest camper Tracy and the Adoption Coalition are in need of about 40-45 donors to help ‘sponsor a foster child’ this holiday season. They ask that donors buy approximately 5 gifts for kids – these can be as small as socks, CDs, clothes, toys, etc. Our goal is to have something for foster children to open on Christmas morning. (If you are interested, more information will be sent to you).

If you are willing to participate, please send an email to acholiday08@gmail.com . This email goes directly to Heidi, the marvelous volunteer coordinating the kids wish lists this year.

Operation Turkey!!!

Come out on Thanksgiving morning to help cook, package and deliver food to the homeless with us. Some of us will be volunteering at the south Austin location (Soup Peddler at the corner of South 1st and Mary St).

You get to select what you want to do. Some people love to cook, but not deliver. Some want to deliver only. That is AOK. Your help is greatly appreciated. We ask that you show up between 9:00 and 9:30 AM. Wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes just to be safe. For more info, visit:

We're running the Race for the Cure!

Race for the Cure has a soft spot in my heart as last year it was my first 5K. I used it not only as a way to raise money for a great and worthy cause but a celebration of losing weight and getting healthy.
Join us for Komen Race for the Cure to be held on November 2nd, 2008. One in seven women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime join our team to start raising funds to support the search for a cure!
PLUS when you show up in your Austin Adventure Boot Camp Tee you have a chance to win!!
Everyone that wears their Austin Adventure Boot Camp t-shirt to the race, will be registered to win a Columbia Pink Digital Sports Watch!!!

A 5K is a great way to show how far you've come! Sure we do the mile during camp but how about 3.2 miles? It is doable come run with me!!
